Microsoft Tools for Educators (3/3): Reflect and Insights

Microsoft Reflect is an app built into Microsoft Teams that helps build a student-centered classroom with space for students to grow their emotional vocabulary and learn to express their feelings.

With a list of 51 different emotions brought to life by the Feelings Monster, an illustrated character that helps students expand their emotional vocabulary, Reflect is a landing place for powerful check-ins with students that will help them gauge their motivations and effort in learning, grow socially and emotionally, and develop social and emotional intelligence t

Reflect gives you the tools to accompany your students in their social-emotional development, letting you tap into the richness of your students’ emotions as they build empathy, learn fearlessly, and connect joyfully.

In this course we will explore how to set up Reflect Check-ins in Microsoft Teams, use the Emotion Board feature for Early Years Learners and those without one to one devices and the Reflect Web app.
